Cafe Patagonia Foods Co.

At Café Patagonia Foods we are a passionate family business and love making great Chilean American food. Doña Cecilia has specialized in making authentic empanadas since 2000. This is in addition to offering an expanding menu of items. Chilean cuisine is a very delectable fusion of Spanish, French, Italian, German, English, Quechua, and Mapuche foods as waves of immigrants mixed varying culinary traditions. In 2017 we expanded to an online service and hope to open a brick and mortar restaurant someday soon.

Do you deliver or can I pickup?

We are sometimes able to deliver by previous arrangement during certain hours for a fee to cover gas, time, and toll expenses, just ask and we will see what we can do. You can also always stop by and pick-up
What are your hours? When is the best time to put in my order?

The best times to call are 2pm to 7pm, before 2pm and after 7pm simply leave a voicemail with your name and number and what you are interested in ordering and we will get back to you as soon as possible everyday. The best way to order is by emailing us your order with cc info.
How soon will my tasty food be ready?

We usually provide food the next day but sometimes can take morning orders to be ready by the late afternoon
What is your refund/cancelation policy?

All sales are final. No returns and no refunds. Please review your order at the time of pickup or delivery. If you cancel after we have begun your order we do expect to keep the payment to cover costs.
Can I pay with credit/debit card?

We now accept credit/debit cards with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, or Union Pay logo. We will need you to call in or email with the name on the card, card number, expiration date, 3 digit security number, and billing zip code in addition to an email address or text enabled phone number in order to send you a receipt (standard messaging charges may apply).
Why are all the pictures not loading?

We have not yet taken pictures of everything we offer, but we absolutely offer anything there is already a picture of. We simply have yet to make the other dishes as of late and have yet to showcase them through an image. They are on their way!
Do you offer Vegan/Vegetarian, Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Diabetic, Kosher and other special dietary options?"

Yes we do, if you need us to we can get some gluten-free flour for your order or create vegan versions of our existing menu items we can do it. Kosher, GF, Dairy Free, and other special diets OK too. An additional charge may apply.
Can I have a customized empanada or other item?

If something is not on our menu and you would like it just ask and we can go ahead and figure out how to make it happen for you!

Where are you located?

The house is located at 5236 Solano Avenue Richmond, CA 94805 in the Richmond Heights area. It is a blue house next to I-80 and the crosstreet is Humboldt Street.
Do I have to order so much/so many empanadas?

A dozen empanadas is not that much. They go quickly, store very well and can be frozen (for months according to Martha Stewart) or shared. We will consider half dozen orders based on availability day to day but we usually cook from scratch fresh the day the order is placed for evening or next day delivery, preferably next day delivery.
Can I pay online?

We are not yet set up for online payments but you can email us your card information with your order and we will process the order.
